The ADDIE Backwards Model is similar to the “traditional” ADDIE model except that the steps in the Analysis Phase have been changed to follow Phillips' Needs Model and Kirkpatrick's Four Levels of Evaluations (see Introduction to the Analysis Phase for a full explanation). In addition, the steps within each phase are aligned with one of Phillips' Needs, as shown in the model to the right (Clark, NW Link, 2010).
